William Wordsworth was an eminent English romantic poet. He was born on 7th April in 1770 at Cockermouth, Cumberland, England and died at the age of 80 on 23rd April in 1850 at Cumberland, England. He was appointed Poet Laureate in 1843 until his death. He met with S.T. Coleridge in 1795 and their relationship began. Both Wordsworth and Coleridge produced lyrical Ballad in 1798 which later became an important work in the English Romantic movement. He is a philosophical poet.
